Visit from Santa

Create Santas chimney out of a Large Cardboard Matchbox.

Step 1

Create Santas chimney out of a Large Cardboard Matchbox. Using Slicks by Zart, decorate the outer of the Large Cardboard Matchbox as the external facade of a chimney. Use traditional brickwork colours, or opt for bright, bold festive colours.

Step 2

Use a darker Slicks colour on the inside tray of the Matchbox to represent the inside of the chimney.

Step 3

Model a Santa figure with Magiclay. Santa needs to be small and flat enough to fit inside the Matchbox tray.

Step 4

Add further embellishments and brickwork to the chimney. NB. Wet Magiclay will adhere directly to the card.

Step 5

For added fun and texture, use Assorted Pom Poms and Jewels as Santas gifts. Attach with Supertac Glue. Alternatively, you may choose to add messages and other personalised Magiclay trinkets to complete your festive diorama. Click here to download the FULL Lesson Plan
