In this video we encourage students to explore their sense of identity by exploring what makes them unique. Students will fill in a fingerprint pattern with words and colours that express who they are.
Thumb Print Selfie
Step 1
On a sheet of A4 paper lightly draw the lines that resemble a thumb print. Students can use a magnifying glass to look at their own thumb and copy the lines or they can use the template we have made.
Step 2
Use coloured pencils to add bands of colour to your thumb print.
Step 3
Ask students to write sentences describing what they like and don’t like, favourite activities and places and any personality traits they are proud of.
Step 4
Follow the lines of the thumb print when writing the sentences until you have filled the image.
