In this activity video we will create a spooky plaster ghost sculpture for Halloween using plaster bandages
Plaster Ghost
Step 1
Tape a poly ball onto the bottom of a paper cup and push skewers into the base of the ball to provide a support for the arms.
Step 2
Use your support as a guide to measure out two pieces of Art Roc. Working one piece at a time, dip one of your bandage pieces into a bowl of water and then gently place it over one side of the support.
Step 3
Do the same to the second piece of bandage making sure that the pieces overlap down the centre. Use your fingers to press the join together.
Step 4
Pinch the bandage together under the arms and along the sides. Scrunch the bottom edge to give the ghost a sturdy base. Now leave the plaster to dry for 1hr.
Step 5
When your plaster is dry you can remove the support.
Step 6
Now you can decorate your ghost by adding eyes and perhaps painting it a fun colour. A battery operated tea light can be placed under your ghost if you want it to glow.
