In this video we will use an assortment of papers and different paper shaping techniques to create a father's day paper portrait.
Fathers Day Paper Portrait
Step 1
On a sheet of A4 card draw an outline of a head and shoulders.
Step 2
Cut out your shape and also cut a wide strip of card as a support. Glue the support onto the back of your head shape.
Step 3
Use a variety of papers to cut or tear shapes to make hair, facial features and clothes for your portrait. When you are happy with your shapes you can glue them onto your head shape. You can also add joggle eyes and buttons to your design. Now leave your portrait to dry.
Step 4
Use markers to write a message on the front of your wooden card stand and slot your portrait into the groove at the top.
