In this video will use a dry felting technique to turn a felt ball into a cute bunny face.
Dry Felted Bunny Face
Step 1
Cut out 2 x ear and 1 x nose shapes out of a sheet of pastel coloured felt.
Step 2
Fold one ear shape in half at the base. Use a felting needle to attach the ear to the felt ball by jabbing through the felt ear into the ball. The felt fibres will mesh together holding the ear in place. Now attach the other ear.
Step 3
Cut a 30-40cm length of wool and use the dry felting technique to form the bunny’s cheeks. Change the wool colour and create the mouth shape. Use the felting technique to attach the nose.
Step 4
You can now glue on a pair of joggle eyes to complete your felted bunny face.
