Drawing with Coloured & Watercolour Pencils

In this video we explore NAIDOC week and our connection to the land through a pencil drawing with coloured & watercolour pencils.

Step 1

Sketch out your design onto a piece of water colour paper using a light graphite pencil.

Step 2

Outline your sketch using watercolour pencils and use a wet brush to bleed the colour into the white spaces of your sketch. Allow to dry.

Step 3

Work over the dry watercolour pencil with assorted coloured pencils. Layer the pencils until you are happy with your outcome.
