In this video we will use a crayon rubbing technique on Cartridge circles to create colourful paper Poinsettias.
Step 1
Place your paper over the rubbing plate and use crayon to reveal the pattern. Use different plates and continue until you have covered the entire circle. You will need at least 2 patterned circles. One in red tones and one in green tones.
Step 2
Fold a circle in half and then into thirds to create a triangular shape.
Step 3
Cut a curved V shape out of the triangle then open up your paper to reveal your poinsettia or the leaves.
Step 4
Use a paper fastener to join the two pieces together.
