Bizarre Birds

In this video we will use pre-cut armature wire and a variety of craft items to create an imaginative bird.

Step 1

Bend a length of pre cut wire into an arch shape and use tissue paper and a small amount of zart podge to fill in the arch. Leave to dry for a few minutes.

Step 2

Use coloured paper or more tissue paper to cut out wing shapes and a beak. Use Zart Podge to glue these onto the main body.

Step 3

Add more detail with joggle eyes and feathers and leave to dry.

Step 4

Place the wire ends into the holes on a wooden armature base to display.
