Balance Wire Sculpture

In this video we explore balance by constructing a fun wire sculpture and adding assorted beads and chenille stems.

Step 1

Cut a 60cm piece of wire and bend it into a long M shape. Push the ends of your wire into holes in your armature base.

Step 2

Cut another long piece of wire and bend it somewhere along its length. This project works best if the lengths of wire on either side of the bend are uneven.

Step 3

Thread a few beads to both ends of your wire and then place the bend of the wire onto the middle of the M shape.

Step 4

Continue to add different wire shapes, more beads and chenille stems to both sides of your sculpture until you are happy with your design and your sculpture is perfectly balanced.
