Zart sets sail on a thrilling voyage through the wonder of Children’s Book Week®!

As proud partners of the CBCA, we’ve charted a course for an inspiring and curriculum-rich adventure — designed specifically for art teachers, librarians, and classroom educators.

Through our onsite and online workshops, we’ll explore hands-on art activities and creative classroom connections that bring this year’s theme, Book an Adventure, to life. Set sail with us and discover how storytelling and visual expression can unlock curiosity, imagination, and a lifelong love of reading.

Guided by our expert navigators, Tania and Fran, this workshop will equip you with practical, engaging ways to inspire young minds—whether in the art room, library, or classroom.

Join us on this creative expedition and celebrate the powerful connection between art and literacy!

In this workshop, you will:

• Read & Explore the text and artwork of selected Shortlisted Books
• Complete art making activities in response to the texts
• Discuss extension, differentiation, cross-curricular links and display ideas
• Share ideas & inspiration to foster engagement in children’s literacy

This is a great opportunity for you to meet, share and network with educators in your area!
