Warm and Cool Paper Strip Painting

In this video we explore warm and cool colours and create a paper strip painting.

Step 1

Choose a simple design and draw 2 identical copies.

Step 2

Paint each picture, 1 using cool colours and 1 using warm colours.

Step 3

Once both paintings are dry cut them into evenly spaced strips.

Step 4

Place the strips down on a piece of A3 black paper alternating the warm and cool colour strips to reform your drawing.

Step 5

Paste down the strips with a glue stick.
