Trace your acrylic base on a piece of paper and then draw a simple shape like a heart or flower inside the drawn square.

Place your square over the design you have drawn and use a marker to trace your shape onto the protective plastic on the square.

Place your square onto a protective surface such as paper towel or scrap paper and begin to drip small amounts of Alcohol Ink onto your shape. You can add a few colours but be careful not to use too much ink as you will end up with a dark mess. If this happens add a few drops of clear extender to the design and use scrunched paper or plastic to lift off some of the ink.

When you are happy with your design carefully lift away the remaining protective plastic to reveal your patterned shape. Leave the ink to dry for 24hrs.

Use Street Paint Markers to write your message over your patterned shape and leave to dry for a few minutes.

You can now remove the protective plastic on the back of your square and put the square in a wooden card holder to display.
