Printing Foam Exploration

In this video we will explore printing with a Foam Plate. We will use Washable Markers, Colour Slicks and Acrylic Paint to create colourful prints.

Step 1

Use a pencil to etch a design into your Foam Plate. Don’t press too hard!

Step 2

Colour in your design using washable markers.

Step 3

Spray a small amount of water to your foam plate and a piece of round cartridge paper then press them together.

Step 4

Rub over the back of the paper for 1min before lifting it off to reveal your print.

Step 5

Gently clean off your foam plate with water and leave to dry before applying the coloured Slicks.

Step 6

Spray the foam plate and paper circle with water, press together and lift to reveal your print. Clean your plate again for the final print.
