Printed Australiana Keepsake

Make a printed keepsake inspired by the shapes of Australian flora and fauna!

Step 1

Cut a sheet of Printing Foam into quarters.

Step 2

Design three organic shapes based on Australian flora and fauna and/or traditional Christmas symbols.

Step 3

Cut these shapes out of one piece of foam. Push a small piece of Display Tack onto the back of each of the shapes. This will make it easier to hold the shape when stamping it.

Step 4

Apply some Fabric Paint to a sponge to make a stamp pad.

Step 5

Ink foam shapes using the sponge stamp pad.

Step 6

Use the shapes to print a pattern onto a Calico Bag or Tea Towel. Allow to dry.

Step 7

Heat seal with an iron to make your design colourfast and washable.

Step 8

Add line work to your design with an EverZart Broad Marker.
