Festive Bookmark

Step 1

Cut a 20cm length of Woven Braid.

Step 2

With a plastic darning needle weave lengths of Paper Raffia or Metallic Yarn through the Braid. Explore different colour combinations e.g. festive, warm or cool colours.

Step 3

Make a short fold at one end of the Braid, and attach three Pinch Clasps to hold and secure the woven Yarns/Raffia in place

Step 4

Use jewellery pliers to open the jump rings of the Tassels and then attach them to the base of the Pinch Clasps.

Step 5

Fold a 5cm x 5cm square of felt over the other end of the decorated braid to tidy up the loose ends.
