Op Art 3D Hand

In this video we explore Op art and create a simple 3D hand illusion drawing. Using thin and thick markers we trace lines and change the curve of our line around the shape of our traced hand.

Step 1

Trace your hand on a piece of A4 cover paper.

Step 2

Use thin and thick markers to draw lines across the page. When you draw your line up to your hand begin to curve the line until you reach the other side of your hand then continue to draw a straight line to the edge of the page.

Step 3

Repeat this process until your whole page is full of lines.
