This Stoneware Brush On Glaze 500mL fires to higher temperatures than earthenware glaze. The higher firing temperature causes the glaze to fully vitrify on stoneware clay making it safe for functional ware, such as cups, plates and bowls. The combination of stoneware clay and glaze is the only way to guarantee items remain safe for use. Stoneware glaze colours have a subtle and subdued colour saturation.
