Mayco Clay Mender 59ml

The Mayco Clay Mender 59ml can be used on greenware or bisque clay to mend fuse and correct clay defects. Handy in the artroom for fixing pesky cracks and pieces that are hard to adhere. Simply moisten pieces with water - no extra adhesive required!

To strengthen a bond, score the location where an attachment will be placed with a potter's needle. Apply a generous coat of Clay Mender and immediately and firmly press the pieces together holding them into place for 10-20 seconds until they become affixed. After drying the areas can then be sanded and smoothed to prepare for decoration. It couldn't be easier!

Hairline cracks can be difficult to repair. It helps to widen the crack and then fill this area with the Clay Mender thus bonding the gap.
