The Copic Ciao Set Metals & Industrial - Silver is a three-marker palette curated for rendering mirror-finish metals. C1 Cool Grey No.1, C3 Cool Grey No.3 and C5 Cool Grey No.5 are spaced deliberately wide apart, because polished metal does not behave like matte material: instead of a smooth gradient, it produces abrupt tonal jumps as it reflects the sky above and the ground below. This palette gives students exactly those jumps, covering chrome, stainless steel, polished silver, mirror finishes, brushed aluminium, cutlery, tapware, automotive trim and jewellery. Copic Ciao are artist-quality alcohol-based markers designed for rendering and design work, dual-tipped with a Super Brush nib for controlled edges and a Medium Broad Chisel nib for hard-edged bands of reflection. The ink dries quickly so students can build crisp adjacent tones without bleeding, and it performs cleanly over laser printer and photocopier toner.
