About this Workshop in a Box:
Suitable for both educators and students.
This refreshing workshop celebrates all things Gardens, Food & Sustainability through art making while linking to wellbeing and our environment.
Inspired by the work of Stephanie Alexander and the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation, who are all about growing, harvesting, preparing and sharing Australia wide.
Together, we’ll create Sensory Garden Wind Chimes using wire and a 3D Upcycled Vase, decorated with inspiration from nature and fresh food.
Plus receive a bonus written activity to design and illustrate your own recipes of your favourite fresh dishes!
In this Workshop, you will:
- Investigate & Explore themes of Gardens, Food & Sustainability.
- Make a Sensory Garden Wind Chime using soft wire and materials found in nature
- Model & paint an upcycled 3D Vase using lightweight paper clay and recycled objects.
- Design and illustrate your favourite recipes using pencil, pen & watercolour paints.
