About this Online Workshop

This workshop is a sequel and extension to Kylie’s original popular Foundation Art workshop.

Perfect for teachers new to teaching foundation level in the art room as well as experienced foundation art teachers looking for a refresher and new ideas.

Look to build confidence and knowledge through hands-on experiences.

Students will have an opportunity to explore the element of shape through different mediums which will allow them to build their bank of knowledge.

Teachers will be able to use processes taught and adapt them to their own curriculum.

During the Course Videos, you will:

• Explore Shape and Pattern through simple printing and drawing techniques.
• Learn how to introduce basic cutting, collage and composition skills.
• Create simple 2D and 3D plasticine models and creatures using simple modelling techniques.
• Explore and Express through watercolour exploration exercises and extension ideas.

For the online group session, you will be asked to bring with you:

• Your art materials from your kit,
• Your completed outcomes from the workshop videos,
• Any questions about the activities, videos, implementation or assessment,
• Feedback and Discussion points for extension into the classroom, differentiation, etc.
