The learning objective for this lesson is to explore shape, texture, emphasis and contrast while learning about the artist Henri Matisse.

  • Acrylic paint
  • Gel plates
  • Texture plates (or found objects with texture – Eg. Bubble wrap)
  • Hard rollers
  • Brown kraft card
  • Brushes
