Symphony of Stories

Zart loves Book Week, and as an official CBCA Partner, we celebrate the annual theme with a program of arts-rich literacy experiences designed to help teachers bring stories to life through making. After decades of delivering our much-loved Book Week program in a familiar format, it’s now been reimagined into a new experience, bigger, more flexible, and built to support teachers with fresh ideas, clear steps, and ready-to-use resources.

You’ll still find the heart of Zart in every activity: purposeful artmaking, strong links to the Australian Curriculum: Visual Arts, exploration of visual conventions, and practical resources you can confidently adapt for your students. It’s Book Week, the Zart way, fresh, creative, and ready to take straight into the classroom.

Designed for all year levels, the program includes Early Childhood, Picture Books, Older Readers, and Eve Pownall texts.
