Large Scale Cake Collage Inspired By Kat McLeod

The learning objectives for this lesson are to explore how shape, colour and texture can be used to construct a large-scale collage inspired by Kat McLeod’s illustration style. Students will design and create a layered cake composition using painted papers, experimenting with tearing, cutting and stamping techniques. They will develop an understanding of composition, contrast and surface texture while working at an enlarged scale.
