In this video we will use magazine images, textured collage shapes, printed collage papers and old artworks to create a fantastical surrealist collage.

Step 1

Cut out a head from an old magazine, and cut out items that will fit with your vision using printed collage papers.

Step 2

Play with different arrangements of your cut-out images on A3 black paper. Add pieces of old artworks, handmade paper shapes and even old handwritten notes. When you are happy with your design, glue your pieces into place.

Step 3

Use coloured markers and gel pens to add decorative details and text.
