Printed Easter Chick

Finger painting is a wonderful way for students to have fun with paint and create fabulous results! Use this technique to create a cute Easter Chicken, also incorporating collage skills. Display all the finished products in the classroom! A suitable activity for primary levels.

Step 1

Cut a large egg shape from A4 Cover Paper.

Step 2

Glue this shape onto the A3 paper.

Step 3

Cover the Egg shape with finger prints using Zart School Colours.

Step 4

Take a print of your hands to create the chicken’s wings.

Step 5

Add eyes, beak and feet using assorted paper scraps.

Step 6

Glue feathers on the top of the head.
