Paper Chickens

In this video, we will use paper construction techniques and pattern layering to make a colourful chicken.

Step 1

Download and print the Paper Chicken template provided below, then using Colour Slicks, cover it with a pattern of your choice.

Step 2

Now add multicoloured dots with Mini Colour Apps. Let the paint dry for a few minutes.

Step 3

Cut out all of the chicken pieces, then use the edge of a pair of scissors to curl the tail pieces.

Step 4

Now you can assemble your chicken. Start with the body, then add the crest, beak, wings, eyes and tail.
