Naidoc Week Foam Print Flag

In this video, we use a foam printing plate and paint slicks to create a decorative print celebrating the 50th anniversary of NAIDOC Week.

Step 1

Use a blunt pencil to etch your design into a foam printing plate. Remember to reverse any letters or numbers so they appear the correct way around in your print.

Step 2

Colour your foam plate using Colour Slicks, taking care not to press colour into the etched grooves.

Step 3

Lightly spray the surface of the printing plate with water. Place a sheet of round cartridge paper on top and press firmly over the back of the paper.

Step 4

Carefully lift the paper to reveal your print.
