Monster Bags

In this video we create sparkly felt monsters to decorate a trick-or-treating bag, using glitter felt sheets and Supertac, for a fun and spooky Halloween textiles project!

Step 1

Place a large piece of paper or cardboard in your bag to stop your bag from sticking together.

Step 2

Cut out a freeform glitter felt shape for your monster's body and glue this onto your bag, leaving a little space where the hands and feet will go.

Step 3

Now cut out felt monster hands and feet. Glue a piece of pipe cleaner to the back of each piece, then add glue to the other end of the pipe cleaner. Tuck the end of each pipe cleaner under the unglued section of the body shape.

Step 4

Glue on Monster Eyes and add other features such as horns, a tail, and a mouth and fangs, cut from felt or made with pipe cleaners. Leave everything to dry.
