In this video, we'll use some simple clay sculpting skills together with colourful air-drying clay to create fun and expressive mini portraits.

Step 1

Working from a photo or your imagination, mix your clay to achieve your desired skin tone. Make a head shape and press it firmly onto a cardboard coaster. Press Joggle Eyes into your clay, then add more facial features with clay.

Step 2

Use clay tools and your hands to shape clothing, arms and anything your figure will be holding.

Step 3

When you are happy with your portrait, leave it to dry for 24 hours.
