Embossed Metal Ornaments

In this video we will cut ornament shapes out of soft metal sheets and use an embossing technique and paint markers to add pattern.

Step 1

Place your foil sheet on a piece of craft foam, then use a blunt pencil to draw a bauble shape. Cut out your bauble and poke a hole near the top.

Step 2

Place your bauble back on the craft foam and use the pencil to press a variety of patterns into the foil. Use paint markers to add colour.

Step 3

When you're happy with your design, thread yarn through the hole, tie it in a loop and hang up your embossed ornament.
