Teachers can introduce this set through guided printmaking lessons that explore line, shape, texture, pattern and colour relationships. Students might create textured collagraph plates, develop gel prints inspired by natural forms, or investigate how a drawn image changes when transferred from plate to paper. Colour-mixing activities encourage students to predict, test and record combinations, while repeated impressions provide opportunities to compare results and refine their approach. The extended working time supports demonstrations and gives learners space to consider composition before taking a print. Teachers can connect projects with science through observations of absorption, or with mathematics through repeated patterns, symmetry and image reversal. Printing sessions also encourage careful sequencing, shared equipment use and responsible clean-up routines. Finished artworks can become individual portfolio pieces, collaborative displays or illustrated classroom stories, helping students build practical skills, discuss their creative choices and gain confidence through experimentation.
