In continuing our partnership with the CBCA in 2023, Zart’s art activity publication celebrates the theme “Read, Grow, Inspire”. Activities & discussions are curriculum-linked and perfect for artroom, classroom or library teachers looking for meaningful art & literacy focused outcomes to celebrate Book Week (21-27 August 2023). This publication is supported by a Zart Education Workshop Program.
Zart seeks to support art teachers, classroom teachers and librarians by fostering the love of Australian Literature and celebrating the rich link between art and literacy in our students.
About the Publication:
Our comprehensive teacher’s resource publication, as well as our supporting workshop program, offers art activities, analysis, discussions, and curriculum links based on the Book Week theme as well as the Book of the Year Shortlisted Books from the Early Childhood and Picture Book categories.
Our publication supports teachers and students to link art-making to literacy, and to extend students’ knowledge and skills to express their thoughts and opinions about the stories being told and the world around them.
