Woodland Animal Plasticine Illustration inspired by Barbara Reid

The learning objectives for this lesson are to explore plasticine as an artistic medium, focusing on creating unique colours and experimenting with textures.

Materials     

  • Plasticine assorted colours
  • A3 Craft card x 2
  • Reference images of woodland animals
  • Grey lead
  • Clay or modelling tools such as a roller, wire brush, scraper
  • Skewers, wooden pop sticks, items found in the art room to create texture into plasticine
  • Zip lock bags or recycled airtight containers
