Soft Sculpture Inspired by Milt Kahl’s ‘Tigger’

Zart educator holds up a completed soft sculpture of Tigger from Winnie-the-Pooh, created as part of a Zart Education On Demand lesson activity. The fabric figure is painted in bold orange, black, and yellow with a cheerful expression, and features visible red running-stitch seams around the cut-out calico form.

In this lesson students will design, paint, stitch, and stuff a soft sculpture character inspired by the exaggerated personality and movement of an animated character, developing skills in surface design, construction, and three-dimensional thinking.

  • Gesso
  • Posca paint markers
  • Pencil
  • Eraser
