Movement Mobiles inspired by Peaches and Keen

The learning objectives for this lesson are to explore the areas of form, shape and line by creating a Movement Mobile inspired by the works of Australian artists, Peaches and Keen (Lucy Hearn and Lily Zielinski).

Materials     

  • Assorted wire in various colours, weight and thickness
  • Pliers or scissors
  • A selection of craft materials such as pom poms, animal beads, fruit beads, felt and pony beads
  • A selection of objects to shape wire with such as glue sticks, cardboard rolls and cones, vessels
  • Art folio/journal or paper for designing
  • Pencil
