Expressive Animal Head Sculptures Inspired by Keith Burt

The learning objectives for this lesson are to explore expressive sculpting techniques through the creation of a native animal head sculpture, inspired by the work of Australian artist Keith Burt. This project explores the art elements of form, texture, line, and space, and the principles of contrast, emphasis, and balance to help students convey expression and character in their sculptures.
