Creative Response and Connection: Sculpture Garden

This lesson is designed for students from Level 4 through to Level 7 to explore and discuss the theme of cultural differences and connection within the story while drawing inspiration from the artist Judy Watson. 

  • Paper Magiclay – coloured or white
  • Paint – optional OR
  • Street Markers – thin tip
  • Clay silicone mat
  • Art journal or paper for sketching
  • Greylead pencil

Objects such as bottle caps, buttons, matchboxes, small boxes, items from home, illustrations or photos of items from home that are related to the student’s cultural background, such as a lace doyley.
