The learning objectives for this lesson are to explore tone, texture, and expressive portraiture through exploring the unique style of Margaret Keane, known for her distinctive "big eye" portraits.

  • Grey Lead 2B and 4B
  • Paper stump
  • Eraser
  • A4 Paper Cartridge, cut into A5 size (students will require 2 x A5 pieces of Paper Cartridge)
  • Sharpener
  • Scrap paper
