Paper Doyley Angel

Create an Angel tree topper with a paper doyley, markers, card and glue.

Step 1

Cut a rectangular doyley in half making sure that one half is a little larger than the other half. Use markers to decorate the larger piece.

Step 2

Roll the larger piece into a cone shape and glue the edge to secure in place.

Step 3

Cut 2 x wing shapes and 2 x sleeves out of the other half.

Step 4

Draw and colour in an angel head on thick paper or card and then cut it out. Glue or tape a piece of tinsel pipe cleaner around the top of the head to create a halo.

Step 5

Draw a pair of hands on thick paper or card and cut them out. Glue the doyley sleeves over the hands.

Step 6

Glue the head, arms and wings into place on the decorated cone.
