Trimmer or Guillotine?
When choosing between a Trimmer or Guillotine it is important to know which one is right for the situation. A trimmer is perfect for when safety is the main priority such as when there are young children around. A trimmer can also cut much larger sized paper depending on which size trimmer you choose (we have trimmers available to accommodate up to A1 size). A guillotine on the other hand is practical when you need to cut a large quantity of paper quickly. The Ledah A2 Professional Trimmer will cut a maximum of 12 sheets of 80gsm paper, whereas the Ledah A3 Professional Guillotine will cut up to 20 sheets at a time. Guillotines are less safe because of their drop blade design. The built-in safety guard eliminates a lot of this danger but is still not as safe as its slide trimmer counterparts.
