About the Artist
Chris O’Doherty (AKA Reg Mombassa) is a New Zealand born Australian Artist and Musician.
Reg is most well-known as a member of Australian rock bands “Mental as Anything” and “Dog Trumpet”, as well as famously designing for surf brand Mambo where he is responsible for creating and inspiring a treasure trove of new designs, iconic characters and distinctive style.
Reg’s artwork can be found in a range of collections in the Art Gallery of NSW, The National Gallery Canberra, The National Portrait Museum Canberra and The Powerhouse Museum NSW.
