The cold pressed surface features a slightly coarse texture (or 'tooth') that beautifully enhances the effects of watercolour, while also supporting other media like acrylics, inks, water-soluble pencils, and crayons. Additional Information

Tip If you intend to use a lot of water in your watercolour painting, then it’s important to stretch your paper before starting to avoid buckling.

How to stretch your watercolour paper:

1. Soak the paper in a bath of water for 5 – 10 minutes (15 – 20 for larger pieces).
2. Remove from the bath and allow excess water to drip off.
3. Fasten the paper on all four sides to a waterproof board such as plywood using gum or masking tape.
4. Lay the board flat and allow to dry.
5. Remove the tape and your paper is ready to use.
