Tips for correct usage

-For best results do not force or put excessive weight on the pencil while sharpening.
-To avoid damaging the sharpener the pencil shaving catcher should be emptied regularly. The catcher is considered full when the shavings reach the top of the indented grips on the sides of the catcher.
-The motor should not be on for more than five minutes at a time without a 15 minute off period in between.

Instructions for use

1. Turn the ring on top of the sharpener to select the hole that best fits the pencil snugly.
2. Insert the pencil into the hole until the motor is engaged.
3. Apply gentle downward pressure until the pencil is sharpened. Do not force or put excessive weight on the pencil while sharpening.
4. To empty the shavings remove the catcher by gently pulling it away from the sharpener. Dispose of the pencil shavings and return the catcher to the sharpener.
