Bubble Mix

Bubble, bubbles and bubblier! This Bubble Liquid is non-scented and Australian made. Bubble liquid can be used as a way to add patterns and texture to artworks.
Add a few drops of bubble liquid to some water, now add some colour by adding some paint – tempera powder paints are perfect for this – now stir to combine. Beat the mixture rapidly until bubbles begin to form. Keep beating until you get the desired amount of bubbles. Once you’re happy with your bubbles, gently place a sheet of paper over the top of the bubbles to lift the print. Carefully remove your sheet of paper and put aside until dry.
A variation to this is to drop some of the combined bubbly mixture directly on to a sheet of paper or card. Then carefully lifting your work surface, move it around so that the liquid carefully moves around the surface forming patterns. You can also try moving the paint around using tools such as a brush or a paste spreader (taking care not to tear the paper) to flow the paint around the surface without popping any of the bubbles.
Once the artwork is dry, use markers, pencils, crayons or other media to embellish the creation.
