Additional Information

How to use:
Clean surface, including removing any flaky or loose debris prior to painting. Apply one coat (dark or bright surfaces may require two coats for full opacity) with a brush or paint roller directly to indoor and outdoor surfaces and allow to dry for 2 hours (longer for temperatures below 10 °C). Paint directly on the primed surface with Street Outdoor Paint by Zart or equivalent outdoor acrylic paint. Clean up with soap and water.

Painting a Mural:

• Transfer design to the surface using a scaled grid system, alternatively use a projector.
• Mark out areas using a chalk line.
• Start from the top of the mural and work your way down. Block out larger areas, then work over with details.
• TIP: Always view design from a distance – as this is mostly how it will be viewed.

Murals, outdoor art and installations are a perfect way to display artwork on a more permanent basis and encourage students to enjoy and respect a space. They also help to create an inviting and welcoming space for teaching and learning. Making collaborate artworks (class and whole school works) promotes a sense of belonging among students and provides opportunities for interpersonal development and problem solving.
