These Biodegradable Zip Lock Bags 15 x 22.5cm Pack of 100 are an ecofriendly resealable plastic bag alternative. They are landfill-biodegradable and BPA and PVC free. The Zip Lock Bags have a special additive which allows them to degrade in landfill by naturally occurring micro-organisms. This process happens in a few years instead of 100+ years. Also, it is 100% recyclable with other soft plastics.

Zip Lock bags make a great sensory activity. To create a sensory bag, simply fill the bag with Eco Gel or Sensory Water Beads and add some food dye for colour. Remove any air and seal the bag with cloth tape. Sensory activities such as these provide opportunities for children to develop motor and problems solving skills as well as supports the development of language and memory. Playing and investigating through the senses encourages children to use scientific processes and make their own discoveries about cause and effect, ask questions and find ways to seek answers.
