Hot-pressed papers have a smooth surface, which produce clearly defined pencil strokes and are ideal for detailed and precise drawings.
Cold-pressed papers have a fine to coarse surface which break up pencil strokes, giving the drawing a looser look.
Colourful and darker papers accentuate the brilliance of the Polychromos colours.
