Paper Collage Echidna

In this activity lesson video we create an echidna using an assortment of patterned papers to create a layered collage.

Step 1

Fold a Kraft paper circle in half and cut along the folded line. Mark out your echidna head and cut off the excess piece.

Step 2

Using a variety of patterned papers, cut multiple wide strips, around 6-7cm, and then cut each strip into long triangle shapes.

Step 3

Starting at the outer edge of your echidna shape begin to glue the triangles down using a glue stick. Continue until you have covered your echidna body.

Step 4

Use a black marker to draw in the nostril and eye to complete your work.
