Howard Arkley Inspired Oil Pastel House

In this video we create a house drawing inspired by artist Howard Arkley using a variety of brightly coloured oil pastels on black paper.

Step 1

Sketch a house design on A3 black paper using a grey lead pencil inspired by Howard Arkley.

Step 2

Fill in the spaces between the lines with oil pastel.

Step 3

Use bright colours inspired by Arkley to fill the space making sure space is left around each shape to create a black boarder.
